Psalm 96

Sing to Yahweh a new song;

Sing to Yahweh all the earth.

Sing to Yahweh, bless his name;

announce his victory day after day.

Tell about his glory among the nations,

his wonderful deeds among all the peoples.

For great is Yahweh and exceedingly praiseworthy;

he is more to be feared than all the gods.

For all the gods of the peoples are idols,

but Yahweh made the heavens.

"Honor" and "majesty" are before him;

"strength" and "beauty" are in his sanctuary.

Ascribe to Yahweh, O families of the peoples;

Ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength;

Ascribe to Yahweh the glory of his name;

Bring tribute and come into his courts.

Bow down to Yahweh in his holy theophany;

Writhe before him all the earth.

Say among the nations, "It is Yahweh who is king;

aye, the world is established, it shall never be moved;

he will judge the peoples with equity."

Let the heavens be glad,

let the earth rejoice,

let the sea and what fills it roar.

Let the fields and everything in them exult;

Then let all the trees of the forest give a ringing cheer before Yahweh--

for he is coming

he is coming to judge the earth.

He will judge the world with equity,

and the peoples with his faithfulness.
