Save me, O God, by your name,
and vindicate me by your might.
God, listen to my prayer;
lend an ear to the words of my mouth.
For strangers have risen up against me,
violent people are seeking to take my life;
they do not keep God in their view. Selah
But surely God is the one who helps me;
the Lord is the one who supports my life.
God will repay the evil of those who watch me insidiously.
In your fidelity, put an end to them.
With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to you;
I will praise your name, Yahweh, for it is good.
For from every trouble Yahweh has delivered me,
and my eye has looked in triumph at my enemies.
